      Hand in Entries for August. Set Subject is Street Photography.

Also Competition Av judging night. As there are only 3 entries. The committee encourages anyone who has made an Av to bring it/them along. In addition you are   encouraged to bring along any images taken with Joel Bramley. We would like to have a look at these images up on the big screen.

  1. Activity Night is on Tuesday 18th July

This is our AGM (Annual General Meeting) where the office bearers are elected onto the 2017—2018 Committee.

Committee nomination forms will be sent to you via email and should be arriving soon.                                                                                                      

Also on this night the club members will be choosing 10 Prints + 10 Digital Images to represent us in the up and coming Quad Competition involving Macedon Ranges, Castlemaine, Goldfields Image Makers & Bendigo. If you have been given a 1st, 2nd or 3rd during Aug 2016 to June 2017 your prints will be considered for selection. Members will be notified by email as to their eligibility. After the AGM (18th July) the prints will be laid out for display. You will be given 3 sheets of paper on which to print you name. Next place your sheet of paper on the print you want to be chosen for the Quad competition. Do not vote for yourself please.

Digital image judging can be found on the BCC Website under Survey. All eligible images will be shown visually. You choose 3 images. Hopefully this will be up and running before the 18th July.

  1. Up Coming Events
  • Quad Competition at Riddells Creek Macedon Ranges. This will be held in the new Community Centre at 74 Main Rd Riddells Creek on Sat. 16th September at 7:00pm.

Prior to the competition Macedon Ranges C.C. will be hosting an afternoon outing commencing at 2pm in the beautiful Forest Glade Gardens located on the southern slopes of Mount Macedon (816 Mount Macedon Rd, Mount Macedon). These are privately owned gardens with an entry fee of $10 pp. The gardens cover 14 acres and offer beautiful photographic opportunities in every season.

Please advise Val if you wish to have dinner at the Riddell’s Creek Hotel

  • 22nd August is a Club Dinner at the Rising Sun Hotel 6:30 start. Please tell Val if you are able to attend so we can make a booking.

 

Just a reminder about the Photography Excursion to Mansfield 13th, 14th and 15th October. All BCC Members welcome to attend.
